IGNOU Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates are recognized by all the members of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and are at par with Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates of all the Indian Universities/Deemed Universities/Institutions vide UGC circular No. F.1-8/92 (CPP) dated February 1992 and AIU circular No. EV/B(499)94/176915-177155 dated January 14, 1994 and are recognized for employment vide Government of India Notification No. 44 dated march 2, 1995. MCA and MBA programmes of IGNOU are recognized by AICTE vide Notification No. AICTE/Academic/MOU-DEC/2005 dated May 13, 2005.
